Working to build a prosperous future for the children: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday said her government is trying to create a beautiful future, where children can live a beautiful, safe and prosperous life.

'Today's children will lead the future. We want to build our children in such a way. They will work with patriotism and love the country, 'he said.

At the Bangabandhu National Stadium on the occasion of 49th Independence and National Day, the Prime Minister said this at a gathering of children and teenagers.

She said her government has launched the Bangabandhu-1 satellite. Multimedia classes have been launched across the country. Provide free textbooks and lectures for the learners.

The Prime Minister said to the children and boys, 'You have to take the country forward. Developing a prosperous and prosperous Bangladesh. It was the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. '

'The government wants to free the country from terrorism, militancy and drug-free', he said.

The Prime Minister urged parents, guardians, teachers and religious leaders to protect children from the negative impact of drugs, terrorism and militancy and to warn them about this.



Urging the children to be involved in sports, athletics, cultural activities and various competitions, Sheikh Hasina said, 'Education is not only good but children also need good health. Their intellectual, mind and creativity will be developed. They have to build a beautiful life. This is our goal. To this end, we have started various types of competition across the country.

Prime Minister highlighted various steps taken by the government to develop children as the eligible citizens of the country.
He described various steps taken by Bangabandhu to rebuild the war-torn country in the last three and a half years and for the welfare of children and adolescents.



Dhaka district administration organized the rally. Deputy Speaker Abu Saleh Mohammad Ferdous Khan spoke on the occasion.

Before the speech, the Prime Minister visited the pleasant parade of different schools and colleges of the district. Later he accepted the greetings of various school students.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque was present on the occasion. The Prime Minister enjoyed the spectacular display of the Prime Minister's students.
He inaugurated the rally by blowing the pigeons and balloons symbolizing peace.
Besides, the Prime Minister distributed prizes among the winners of the National Anthem singing competition.
